The UK Government provides help with various childcare, here is some information and resources for parents.

The government has built a calculator that will help you see what government support you are eligible for.

15 Hours of Free Childcare (3 to 4-Year-Olds)

All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 free hours per year. It’s usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year, but you can choose to take fewer hours over more weeks.

30 Hours of Free Childcare

You may be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year (during school term time).

Tax-Free Childcare

You may be eligible to get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for your child(ren) to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).

Childcare Vouchers

Unfortunately, the Government closed the Childcare Vouchers scheme to new entrants on 4th October 2018. This means that if you’re a parent looking to join Childcare Vouchers for the first time, or an employer looking to start a scheme in your business for the first time, that option is no longer available to you.

At Raunds Playgroup we like to prepare the children ready for school, as part of that we have our own uniform! We feel this is also a nice keepsake from your child(ren)’s time with us. Uniform is optional.

All money raised through the sale of our uniform goes into making the Playgroup better for the children.
